APPLICATIONS & INFORMATION FOR SUMMER 2020 WILL BE AVAILABLE JANUARY 6, 2020

 

Below is a summary of the academic K-7 summer programs offered by Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) Extended Learning Department for summer school. 

 

 


 

K-7:  This program is hosted at Cluster Sites around the city.  The program focuses on Reading and Math, but also includes subjects such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education and other classes. Students who qualify are notified by invitation and receive transportation to their home cluster site. GEMS/GISE/STEM:   This program is for MPS Little GEMS/Junior GISE and GEMS/GISE students in grades K-7.   The program focuses on STEM learning, in a project / problem based curriculum and instructional approach.
